Classes and discipleship groups are held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The rest of the week is for students to work, attend college or volunteer.
Our classes are always Scripture-based and include teaching on Biblical leadership and identity, the character of Christ, Bible study and practical life skills.
Additionally, you'll complete a personality assessment to learn more about yourself and how to build relationships with others.
Every student is assigned one of our staff members or volunteers as a personal "discipler." This staff member will walk with you to give you wisdom and help you grow in your faith.
Students and staff are divided into Discipleship Groups that meet in the homes of the staff. Here, you'll dig deep into what was taught in classes and how to practically apply it.
Students meet regularly with their discipler and one or two other students of the same gender in what's called a Discipleship Triangle. This is a time to discuss deep-rooted struggles and receive support.
Off The Wall is not here to replace the local church. Rather, we are here to encourage young adults to participate in it, stepping up in their levels of involvement. Each student at OTW is assigned a ministry role to serve in the church, from working the coffee bar to children's ministry and anything in between. Students are also encouraged to form connections with other families in the church outside of the OTW community.
