Students live in homes within the local community. They cook meals, clean their houses, take out the trash, and learn to live with others. Some students have vehicles and some students have skateboards. All of our homes have access to jobs and essentials without needing a vehicle.
Living in homes within the community gives our students the opportunity to learn many essential life skills. We also have staff and volunteers that come alongside our students to teach a variety of life skills. Here is a list of life skills students will have an opportunity to learn.
- Money Management & Budgeting
- Time & Energy Management
- IT & Computer Skills
- Job Interviewing & Resume Building
- Cooking, Baking, & Meal Prep
- Cleaning & Laundry
- Auto Care & Maintenance
- Home Maintenance
- Yard Work & Landscaping
All students will be actively involved in the local church. As a ministry we partner with many local churches but our home church in Ohio is Countryside Chapel and in PA is Upper Perkiomen Community Church. Our desire is to teach and model the importance of the local church to our students. They will be actively engaged in the local church through serving in various capacities which could include youth, worship, children's ministry, nursery, tech, and more.
